Collection of Jacques Lipchitz Sculptures,
Gift of the Jacques and Yulla Lipchitz Foundation, New York

This Collection consists of 49 plaster and terra-cotta sketches and reflects the diversity of themes that Lipchitz dealt with in the course of his artistic career and the styles characterizing the various stages in the development of his work. The earliest sketch is dated 1911, and the latest is from 1971-72.
