This year the Gala Dinner and Benefit Auction took place at the Monte Carlo Beach Club and were sponsored by Maja Ruth and Aaron Frenkel. This very elegant and prestigious event celebrated Tel Aviv's 100th year Anniversary and was held in the presence of Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Museum, and Prof. Mordechai Omer, Director and Chief Curator. The musical electric duo FUSE as well as pianist Doctor Gabs, gave stirring performances and contributed to the ambience of the evening. Israeli journalist Ron Ben Yishai gave an address. The Benefit Auction was conducted by Pierre Mothes from Christie's and included educational projects as well as artworks by renowned Israeli and International artists. The weekend of art preceding the Gala featured visits to the artist Bernar Venet's home and studio in Le Muy, the Hartung-Bergman Foundation as well as to the Foundation Maeght.
