The American Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art's (AFTAM) annual gala, honoring Dominique Lévy and Yael Borovich took place at the Metropolitan Club in New York in the presence of Prof. Mordechai Omer. Philip Pearlstein, the great American contemporary realist painter, was "Artist of the Year."

Ms. Levy received AFTAM's "Patron of the Arts Award" for her profound knowledge of contemporary art and the art market. AFTAM was pleased to have the opportunity to present Yael Borovich with the "Outstanding Service Award" for her thirty years of service as Director and Curator of the Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Art Education Center.

The event attracted 300 guests. The success of the evening was greatly due to the efforts of Gala Chairs Susan and Martin Sanders, long-time friends and ardent supporters of the Museum.
