ALL HIS SONS: THE BRUEGHEL DYNASTY
ALL HIS SONS: THE BRUEGHEL DYNASTY
The Brueghel Dynasty Exhibition has reopened!
Due to popular demand, the Brueghel exhibition will be shown Saturday, 1.12, from 10 am to 10 pm;
and on Friday, 30.11, from 10 am to 2 pm.
Four generations of the Brueghel family lived and
worked in Flanders from the mid-16th to the early
18th century. The founder of the dynasty was
Pieter Bruegel the Elder, but the exhibition—about
100 paintings, drawings and engravings—focuses
mostly on his sons, grandsons, great-grandsons
and sons-in-law, all painters, and on their wonderful
depictions of snow-covered villages, farmers in the
forest, flowers, butterflies and tiny insects.
