HARUN FAROCKI : IMAGINATION AT WORK
The exhibition aligns three video installations
by German artist and filmmaker Harun Farocki
(born 1944 in Neutitschein, German-annexed
Czechoslovakia, today Nový Jicín, Czech Republic)
all dealing with imagination and memory and
the status of the image: Transmission (2007)—
imagining magic: the documentary image; Serious
Games I and III (2009, 2010)—imagining the theatre
of war: the documentary and the animated image;
and Parallel (2012)—imagining new worlds:
the computer game image.
