First exhibition in Israel of works by Friedrich Adler
(Laupheim, 1878–Auschwitz, 1942), a member of
the pre-Bauhaus Deutscher Werkbund (German
Craft Alliance), which believed in art's ability to
effect a change in society and in the religious
hegemony. The focus of the exhibition is a rare
stained-glass window, also featuring decorative and Judaica
works which reflect the innovativeness of early Modern
industrial design.
